Many pundits believed that, with Republican control of the Congress, the liberal agenda was finished.  They touted a new "conservative era of limited government."

But deep down in the underpinnings of our society a different kind of revolution has been taking place.  Schools have been "restructured" by an out-of control federal education bureaucracy that is turning away from basic education -- instead creating job-training centers.  Government programs are creating huge data banks to "profile" American citizens to achieve a "big brother" invasion of personal privacy.  Federal "land management" programs, under cover of "environmental protection" have resulted in the biggest "land grab" in U.S. history.  And now the threat is moving from rural West into population centers under the friendly, but deadly titles of "Sustainable Development" and "Smart Growth." If left unchecked, all property owners may soon be reduced to little more than tax-paying tenants on their own land.

Slowly, as many pundits look the other way, or misread the danger signs, the Left's quiet revolution changes the face of our nation.
