Victories Against Agenda 21

The battle against Agenda 21 is really heating up across the country as property rights activists are using the new American Policy Center tactics that I’ve been supplying. As a result, reports are coming in from activists and elected officials across the nation of growing battles and even some outright victories in the fight against Agenda 21. Finally we are able to stand up against self appointed stakeholder groups seeking to transform our nation into their private agendas, contrary to the Constitution. Here are just a few of the most recent reports I’ve received:  1. The Oklahoma House of Representatives passed the Oklahoma Community Protection Act (HB 2807). The bill is designed to nullify Agenda 21 and protect private property rights. I was privileged to help provide some strong property rights language and definitions to make the bill more effective. The bill is now in the State Senate. It has ...

Oppose HJR1083 in Oklahoma!

To all APC supporters in Oklahoma: This coming week, March 10th, the Oklahoma legislature will consider HJR 1083 – a state call for an Article V Convention of States. This resolution calls upon the U.S. Congress to convene an Article V Convention. The last time we had such a convention was 1787 and resulted in a new Constitution. While the proponents of such a convention believe that we can restrict the delegates to a single topic such as a balanced budget amendment the reality is that the delegates can’t practically be bound. Proponents of Article V insist that it is the only thing that will reduce the size and power of government – because government is ignoring the Constitution. Here is the real question for Article V advocates: If government today refuses to follow the Constitution, what will change once it is amended with the Articles of Freedom? What motivation ...

Please help a family in crisis!

Sledgehammer Action Alert From the American Policy Center URGENT! URGENT! Please help a family in crisis.  Their private property is being destroyed for a bike path.   Jennie Granato, a resident and tax-paying citizen of Montgomery County, Ohio, has found herself without a front yard and very little to show for it. Because the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission (MVRPC), as part of a $5M bike path extension, has begun to seize up private property for their "essential" project, including almost the entirety of Miss Granato's front lawn. The bike path will come within seven feet of her front door!! The bike path is being forced by the MVRPC, a non-elected regional planning commission that is driven by federal Sustainable Development grant money – with no input from local residents or property owners. The local country commissioners and the township trustees are helping to enforce this program. Jennie and her family ...

Yesterday this blog was privileged to attend and document a protest in favor of liberty, private property, and the general American imperative to resist the Bloomberg-ification (if you will) of our lives. Tom DeWeese of APC offers a high-level overview of the situation, touching on some of the creepier Agenda 21 aspects of the issue:  Read the full article here ...

Tea Party Protest In Support Of Virginia Farmer Over Fauquier County Zoning

First they came for the farmers. . . as was demonstrated at the Warren Green Building in Warrenton, Virginia. Previous reporting here. It was a pleasant summer day in what looked to be a quaint rural Virginia town. Not the kind of place you’d expect to be ground zero in the current national discussion of whether individual liberty matters in the face of the all-powerful regulatory state. Matters of zoning are as cogent as ObamaCare, we quickly find. Read the full article ...
