Animal Rights and the Globalist Agenda

While everyone knows that Animal Rights (A/R) is at the far left extreme of the political spectrum, most people do not understand what A/R is or where they fit into the New Age/Globalism scheme. A/R, like the Green movement, is a multimillion dollar business that is a cabal for taking people out of the natural structure of the earth. And while most people sense that A/R is extreme, they have no idea of what the A/R movement’s core beliefs are. People confuse animal rights with animal welfare which are as different as black and white. Animal Welfare is the humane caring for animals. Animal Rights is the use of animals to attack human existence. How is that? A/Rists believe that humans should not eat meat, wear leather, hunt or fish, use any medical research (past, present or future) involving animals or even have pets. In speaking about animals in research, ...

Animal Rights is not Animal Welfare

Here’s another issue that is decided with the mentality of a little girl who just likes fluffy animals. The Animal Rights movement is one of the most violent of the nation. It plays on the heartstrings of emotional children, like actress Pam Anderson, where reason and knowledge give way to raw emotion. Most people take up the animal rights cause because they care about the “welfare” of the animals. Few want to see animals suffer and they want something done when it happens. But animal welfare and animal protection have nothing to do with the animal rights movement. Frankly, it’s too nuts to explain rationally. So, here, let them tell you in their own words. TD They Oppose Pet Ownership “Pet Ownership is an absolutely abysmal situation brought about by human manipulation.” — Ingrid Newkirk, PeTA “(Pets) are slaves, even if well-kept slaves.” — PeTA’s Statement on Companion Animals An ...

Greens Just Can’t Stop Their Scare Tactics

Last year the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) declared CO2 a pollutant and set about banning such emissions to save the planet. Real scientists tried to point out that nature needs CO2 to thrive. OK, so the Greens kind of heard that logic and quickly sought ways to subvert it into a new Frankenstein-style horror story. The result, headlines in The Washington Post (August 31, 2010) that rising CO2 levels are... wait for it... causing poison ivy to grow more prolifically. Said the Post article, “According to a report in the journal ‘Environmental Health Prospectives’ last year, the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere has grown by 22 percent since 1960, which may not be good for humans but is great for poison ivy and other vines.” The fact is, rising CO2 levels are good for all plants (and offer no danger to humans) and there is evidence of plant life ...

Science vs. Alarmism 4th International Conference on Climate Change

By Tom DeWeese It has been an amazing year, watching the once-powerful global warming movement virtually collapse into scandal and disrepute as the “climategate” revelations of data tampering continue to grow. I have written many times on these pages that “there is no man-made global warming.” The powerful global warming lobby has attacked its opponents of “cooler heads” scientists who have demanded facts rather than political agendas. The Global Warming alarmists have blocked grants from being given to researchers that dispute their findings that the earth is being destroyed by human civilization. They have intimidated science publications that dare print opposing reports. They have even called for “Nureumberg-style show trials for anyone who dares disagree with them. And so it was for almost two decades. However, just a couple of years ago a group of courageous scientists were given the opportunity to have their say, in opposition to the alarmists ...

Climategate: Melting the Chains of Tyranny

December 8, 2009 By Tom DeWeese Rarely has a political movement with so much power collapsed so fast, certainly not since the fall of the Berlin Wall. Beginning in 1990, Global Warming has been the battle cry behind schemes for global control of industry, energy use, water use, private property and community development. It has been the excuse for economy-killing legislation like Cap and Trade (that will extract $865 billion from an already overtaxed people who use energy), and global-to-local polices like Sustainable Development (that robs local communities of freedom to decide their own future development). As a result, the world economy is being transformed into a new Dark Ages of superstition and thought-control – all in the name of Global Warming – or more recently – Climate Change. No stone has been left unturned in Global Warming zealotry and its drive to transform human civilization. It seemed the juggernaut ...

Barack Obama’s Suicide Mission to Copenhagen

November 12, 2009 By Tom DeWeese For more than fifteen years I have been studying and reporting on international United Nation conferences, treaties, and policies, warning that they are a road map to global governance and eventual UN global government. In addition, I have warned that the international environmental movement is not really concerned about protecting the environment at all – rather it is using mother earth as an excuse for an age-old drive for power and wealth. For those same fifteen years my warnings have fallen on deaf ears in Congress, in state houses and in city councils across the nation. Instead, I and others like me, have been labeled radical fringe and conspiracy nuts. As a consequence, I have been ignored by much of the media, dropped from major nation radio and television news shows that once invited me as a guest on a regular basis. Letters, petitions ...

Environmental Facts the Greens Will Never Mention

October 23, 2009 By Tom DeWees ITEM: Compact fluorescent light bulbs, mandated to replace the century-old reliable incandescent bulb (at four times the cost) contain poisonous liquid mercury over 300 times the EPA’s standard accepted safety level. In addition, days after a bulb has been broken, vacuuming or simply crawling across the carpeted floor where the bulb was broken can cause mercury vapor levels to shoot back upwards of 100 times the accepted level of safety. These figures are according to a report by the Maine Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) after a woman was quoted $2000 for cleanup of a broken compact fluorescent bulb in her house. In short, it basically takes a HAZMAT team to clean up when a bulb is broken. Worse, as the bulbs are used by more Americans, land fills will become toxic waste dumps, forcing massive government response to deal with normal disposal of ...

They’ve Discovered Gold in Hell… Or How the Lie of Global Warming Became the Most Powerful Political Force in Human History

June 9, 2009 Folklore By Tom DeWeese Not long ago a very talented salesman died and found himself approaching the Pearly Gates. As he drew closer he noticed there was a very long line of people waiting to enter and it wasn’t moving. Impatient by nature, the salesman pushed his way to the front of the line and confronted a very harried St. Peter. “What’s the hold up,” asked the salesman. “There’s a strike at the pedestal factory and no one may enter Heaven without one,” explained St. Peter. “So, you’ll just have to wait until the strike is settled and they start manufacturing more pedestals.” That didn’t satisfy the salesman. Always looking to make a deal, he said to St. Peter, “listen, I’m a pretty fair salesman. Let me make you this deal. Let me come into Heaven for just one hour. If I don’t have my own pedestal ...

The Myth of Global Warming

March 23, 2009 By Jim Hollingsworth INTRODUCTION When Al Gore screams out in Senate testimony: “The Earth Has A Fever” he is not so much developing a scientific theory as he is seeking to use fear to drive a political agenda.  The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has issued four reports and in each one they have become more convinced that man is the chief cause of global warming, and that this warming is and will be seriously destructive to life as we know it. We are told that “the science is settled” and that there is “a consensus” of scientists who believe we are headed for disaster if we do not stop burning fossil fuels.  Yet, there is a growing number of scientists who disagree.  Over 32,000 scientists have signed “The Petition Project” over 9,000 of them with PhDs proclaiming that man is not the chief cause of ...

The World Wildlife Fund’s Polar Bear Lies

March 6, 2009 By Tom DeWeese No doubt you’ve seen the ads. The music is dramatic. The scene is tragic. The message emotional. Polar Bears, holding on for dear life to bits of ice, their artic habitat destroyed by Global Warming. And the narration tells you of the tragic fate of the bears, all because of man and his selfish destruction of the earth. And of course, the ad ends with a plea for funds to help the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) protect the bears and stop Global Warming. Cute, fuzzy animals always do the trick. Trouble is, it’s all a lie. Not one word of the ad is true. Polar Bears are not endangered. There is no indication of any reduction of their populations. In fact, they are actually being hunted by locals who have to live with them, in an effort to keep their populations down. Of 13 ...

What if there is no Man-Made Global Warming? What then?

February 25, 2009 By Tom DeWeese Here are some questions every American should ask their elected officials – especially those supporting “climate change” legislation: If it is proven that climate change is not man-made, but natural, will you be relieved and excited to know that man is off the hook? Will you now help to remove all of the draconian regulations passed during the global warming hysteria, since it was all wrong headed and harmful to the economy and our way of life? Their answers to these questions should be very illuminating as to the true agenda they seek to impose. Is their agenda really about helping to protect the environment, or is it about creating a new social and economic order, using the environment as the excuse? If they are supporting climate change legislation because of a genuine concern for the environment, then they should now be greatly relieved ...

Global Warming and its Evil Twin ‘Climate Change’ Predictions Wrong on Both Counts

June 12, 2007 By Tom DeWeese Global warming alarmists are a clever bunch. They have very carefully changed the issue from "global warming" to "climate change." Now any change in weather, be it mild winters or cool summers can be attributed to "climate change." Whatever the weather, the news is very bad. One claim threatens massive storms thrashing our communities. Such a threat was an easy sell in 2005 as Katrina was blamed for nearly destroying New Orleans in a hurricane season that seemed without end. Surely it could not be denied that climate change Armageddon was upon us. To make the point, in September, 2005, Bjorn Carey, Staff Writer for the website, LiveScience.com reported that the "Increase in major hurricanes (was) linked to warmer seas." Said Carey, "the number of severe hurricanes has doubled worldwide even though the total number of hurricanes has dropped over the last 35 years." ...

The Global Warming Debate: As the skeptics score points, the political climate starts to change

May 3, 2007 By Tom DeWeese With great fanfare, in March, Al Gore took Capitol Hill like a conquering hero as he testified on Global Warming before both houses of Congress. Fresh from conquests at the Academy Awards where his adoring Hollywood elites showered him with coveted golden statues for spreading their favorite propaganda, Gore was determined to turn his personal conquest into draconian federal law and ultimate human misery. Gore’s words to Congress were predictable. The earth is warming. The polar ice caps are melting. Polar bears are on the run. And it’s man’s fault. Solution? Ban or control human activities. The mantra of the religion of Global Warming is getting a little boring. It’s quite possible, however, that Gore’s appearance on the Hill actually represents the beginning of the end of his influence on climate policy rather than the start of a legislative tsunami. Why? Because even after ...

The Global Warming Inquisition and the Suppression of “Skeptic” Heresy

November 14, 2006 By Tom DeWeese Imagine living in a world where no one is allowed to think independent thoughts or take independent actions. Only pre-approved human response would be acceptable. To break the rule and engage in forbidden thought would result in terrible retribution, perhaps leading literally to ones destruction. That’s the kind of world apparently desired by the global warming Chicken Littles. It seems they are prepared to do anything to achieve it. Case in point is an outrageous letter to ExxonMobil Chairman Rex Tillerson on October 27, 2006. The letter was sent by two United States Senators, Olympia Snowe (R-MA), and Jay Rockefeller (D-WV). The letter derides Exxon for helping to fund global warming “deniers,” (a term the global warming crowd is using more and more these days to try to draw a parallel with those who deny the Holocaust). Said the letter, “We are convinced that ...

The Global Warming Deceptions Continue

October 18, 2006 By Tom DeWeese They call us the “astro-turf” crowd --those of us who dispute the dire claims of global warming. Let one of us get on the radio or in front of an audience and the accusation is made: “You’re just a lackey of big business.” Nothing we say can have any serious meaning because we are paid by big oil or some other corporation and so must have an ulterior motive.( By the way, I or the American Policy Center have never received a single dime from big oil corporations). Of course, there is always a double standard in the name calling business. Now comes this report from Senator James Inhofe, Chairman of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. In a speech before the Senate, Inhofe told of the media’s double standard in reporting on the global warming issue. Said Inhofe, “On March 19 of ...

Fanatics, Heretics and the Truth about Global Warming

May 24, 2006 By Tom DeWeese "Oceans lash our coasts. Deserts Burn. The sky provides no shelter. Turmoil of Biblical proportions threatens not just our weather but life itself. Global Warming is upon us." Those words aren’t from the preview trailer of the silly, overblown, over dramatic film, "Day After Tomorrow" that invaded movie theaters a few years ago. And they aren’t just carefully selected "scare" words developed from a sweep through a thesaurus. These are the opening words to yet another hysterical diatribe passing as news these days on the subject of Global Warming. This particularly silly one greeted readers of a recent issue of Playboy Magazine. The article was, of course, accompanied by the obligatory pictures of smokes stacks belching over a city and the melting of ice burgs. You hear it everywhere. Global Warming is a fact. It is here. It is now unstoppable. The Polar Ice ...

Eco-Imperialism and the Drive to Destroy the Free Market

October 28, 2005 By Tom DeWeese Max Keiser is a new kind of terrorist. He uses the Internet and boycotts to manipulate stock prices. In that way he forces corporations to comply with his brand of radical environmentalism and Sustainable Development. He puts his hands around corporate throats and squeezes until they comply with his demands. Max Keiser and his ilk hate business and they hate free enterprise and are using these tactics to redistribute wealth and cause chaos in the market place. Keiser’s operation is called "KarmaBanque." That new age-focused name alone should give readers an idea of the wacky worldview that spews from Keiser’s brain. But his brand of activism is much more sinister. He calls himself a financial anarchist and he and his partner, Stacy Herbert, consider themselves the "Bonnie and Clyde of the Internet." In their own words, "KarmaBanque is at the center of a new ...

The Endangered Species Act: Thirty years of Endangering People and Animals is Enough

March 21, 2005 By Peyton Knight Animals and humans have suffered the menace of the Endangered Species Act (ESA) for three long decades. During this span, over 1,300 species have been listed as threatened or endangered under the Act’s guidelines. According the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the ESA is responsible for recovering a mere ten of them. That amounts to a pitiful recovery rate of less than one percent. When you take into account credible studies that show these ten recoveries had little or nothing to do with the ESA, the "success" rate plummets to zero. Saving zero of over 1,300 species is hard work and sacrifice under the Endangered Species Act. After all, you don’t achieve a zero percent success rate without breaking a few eggs. When the Northern Spotted Owl was listed under the ESA in 1990, tens of thousands of Americans in the Pacific Northwest lost ...

Radical Environmentalism Losing Support

By Tom DeWeese June 18, 2004 In another sign that Americans are slowly regaining their senses, a new Gallup Poll shows that the environment is no longer the top concern among Americans. In fact the issue has sunk to number ten, with affordable health care the number one national concern. Only four years ago, during the height of the global warming scare, the environment was the number one concern. But apparently Americans are beginning to see through the Chicken Little scare mongering perpetrated by power-hungry elitists who are using the environment as an excuse to enforce their Sustainabilist agenda on the nation. One can only swallow the scare tactics for a while before it gets noticed that nothing is really happening. Four years ago the Sierra Club and the Nature Conservancy were able to convince a lot of people that the temperature was rising and the Polar Ice Cap was ...

Eco-Terrorists Must Be Included In International Dragnet

October 25, 2001 By Tom DeWeese While the remains of the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York and the five sides of the Pentagon in Washington. D.C. are "ground zero" for the horrible destruction brought on by foreign terrorists, the nation’s forests and research labs are serving as "ground zero" for domestic environmental "eco-terrorists." There may be diabolical links between the two forces. For years Americans were warned of potential attacks by foreign terrorists ike Osama bin Laden, Saddam Hussein and the Islamic Jihad. We ignored those warnings, to our peril. As Americans dozed in their indifference, bin Laden created a terror network, planting sleeper agents, infiltrating American society, conducting surveillance, and plotting attacks. Eco-terrorists have much in common with the terrorists of the Weather Underground of the 1960’s. They advocate the violent overthrow of the old order. They communicate through dispatches placed in radical publications ...
