30 Jan Major News on the Battle for Property Rights
I’ve got some important news to share with you. I believe it’s news you’ve been waiting for!
Before I go into the details, let me first say thank you for your incredible support over the past year, especially in our fight against the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). The outpouring of concern has been incredible.
The fight goes on. As I told you APC has joined in a coalition with some fifty other Conservative and Christian organizations. But I’ll be honest with you. I’m a little disappointed in how timid and afraid some of these groups are about taking SPLC head on. They fear SPLC’s big bank accounts and government ties. And so they are cautious in every move – which leads to very little action.
My friend, I believe the only way to affectively fight a bully is with a strong fist! I believe the best defense is a powerful offense. And that leads me to my big news!
Just over a year ago I had a meeting with my American Policy Center leaders, including my Vice President Kathleen Marquardt, Dr. Bonner Cohen, John Meredith, my late wife Carolyn DeWeese, and my invaluable right hand, CJ Scrofani.
In that meeting we assessed our battle against Agenda 21 and its system of Sustainable Development. We agreed that it is the most dangerous threat against our American freedoms as its policies invade every single federal and state agency as well as every community in the nation.
It’s targeting our free market system, it’s destroying property rights. And it’s eliminating your ability to live a life of your own choosing because government dictates your every action.
Yes, APC has been the main organization fighting it. And yes, we have succeeded in making it a national issue. But still it grows into a greater threat every day. How do we stop it?
At that meeting of the APC Board of Directors, over a year ago, we created a detailed plan on what we had to do.
We realized we have to educate both citizens and elected leaders about why Sustainable Development is such a threat. That means we will have to blast through the massive money and powerful propaganda of the Sustainablists to reach elected officials.
And we have to make a major impact in the media.
We also understand that we can’t just oppose these policies, we have to offer workable solutions that will be understandable and will grab the attention of the nation.
It has taken us a year to put it all together. Way longer than I intended. Lots of life got in the way. Lots of battles had to be fought. There was a lot of travel, speaking, radio interviews that had to be done – just our normal APC projects.
And of course, the shocking loss of my wife Carolyn put a temporary suspension to a lot of my efforts.
But through it all, we continued to plan, prepare, and make progress to put the best plan possible in place.
Today I can tell you that we are now ready! And I want to give you all of the details because I am about to launch the biggest project the American Policy Center has ever organized.
Here are the details:
First, I have just finished writing my new book. It is the main tool of the plan. It’s a policy book entitled Sustainable! The War on Free Enterprise, Private Property and Individuals.
This book is the key to the entire plan. It tells the full story of Sustainable Development policy and why it’s a threat to our freedom.
The book answers these questions:
- The lost definition of property rights
- 10 points to define true property rights
- The only solution to eradicating poverty
- What is Sustainable Development
- 6 real questions Planners should ask the public
- 10 questions to ask before signing a Conservation Easement
- 10 reasons to avoid Regional plans
- Who takes the “walk of shame?”
- And it provides an agenda to restore property rights
All of these details and much more are in this new book. It will serve as an educational tool for elected officials as well as the unaware public, a how-to manual for local activists to fight back, and a clarion call on the urgent need to roll back government regulations.
This book will soon be available online, on Amazon and in book stores.
As the book is launched, I will begin a major media blitz, appearing on national, regional and local radio and TV. I have amassed a list of over 3,000 major radio shows across the nation. In addition, I have engaged a public relations firm to help get on some major network shows that up till now have been afraid to touch this issue.
Obviously, such a media blitz will lead to even more, plus we plan a major speaking tour. I can’t do everything myself. That’s why I’m thrilled to tell you that the American Policy Center is growing. Our reach is expanding and our voice is getting louder!
That’s because I will be joined on the speaking circuit and media interviews by two new spokespeople representing APC.
APC Vice President Kathleen Marquardt is stepping up her leadership role. Along with writing the APC Newswire and handling many administrative duties, she will now represent APC to address local and state groups about Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development. Kathleen is the author of the best-selling book Animal Scam, and has appeared on many national news programs.
In addition, I’m excited to announce that well-known activist Hal Shurtleff is joining with APC as one of our expert speakers. Hal is the co-founder and director of Camp Constitution. Over the past several years he has conducted over 300 presentations on Agenda 21, and appeared on hundreds of radio and TV shows.
In addition to these developments I am organizing a major Property Rights Network. This will be a coalition of activists, leaders, organizations, hosts of radio programs, and elected officials.
The purpose is to help them network, share ideas, and coordinate campaigns to make a major push forward.
Imagine the impact if ten state legislators from ten separate states were to introduce the same bill to protect property rights – all on the same day. And at the same time, dedicated activists were to rally in support of the bills at each state capital. Meanwhile, spokesmen would begin appearing on radio and television promoting the bills. That would be a force unlike anything ever done in our movement. Such will be the power of the Property Rights Network.
Finally, I will shortly begin to host a series of online training webinars to help activists gain the best ideas for fighting back in their local communities. I will bring on the best experts in the nation to share details, experiences, and workable solutions and effective campaigns.
Education, coordination, and outreach to new activists are how we are going to build this movement.
There you have it. My plan – a year in the making and ready to launch – to fight and to stop the assault of Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development.
This is the battle I was born to lead. Everything I have learned, everything I have done over the past thirty years has led to this fight. I intend to work with the best leaders in the nation and use everything I know to win.
Now I’m asking you. Will you join me? Will you help me defeat those power-mongers who are driving to destroy our nation?
There are three ways you can join this effort.
First, you can join the Property Rights Network!
Second, if you are part of an activist group working to protect property rights, free enterprise and the overreach of government into our private lives, then please reply to this email with the name of your group and a way to contact you. We need thousands to join this effort!
Third, obviously I need financial support to make it all happen. This is the biggest undertaking in the American Policy Center’s history. We are up against the most powerful and highly funded force in the world. But the good news is the curtain they have always hidden behind has been pulled back, exposing them. Now many more Americans are ready to fight.
We can beat them. We must!
To do that I need your most generous donation to APC. Whatever you can give. Now is the time. This is the cause.
I am using everything I have learned in five decades of fighting them.
This is the battle. This is the big fist offense we must have. Please join me.
